Privacy Policy

This covers what Lit Little Laboratories LLC collects when you use this website or hire me, and what happens to it. Short version: I collect what I need to do the work and nothing else, I do not sell it, and you can ask me to delete it.

What I collect from this website

If you fill in the estimate form, I receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, business name if you give one, and your description of the problem. That is stored so I can reply to you and keep track of the job.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person rather than a bot. Cloudflare receives your IP address and some browser signals as part of that check. It is used to score the request and nothing else.

The site does not run advertising trackers, does not sell data to anyone, and does not build a profile on you.

What I collect when you hire me

To do the work I usually need contact details, the address of the site I am working at, notes about your systems, and credentials to the equipment and accounts involved. Where a job involves your business data, such as connecting an assistant to your database, I see that data in the course of the work.

I use it for your job. I do not use your business data to train anything, I do not share it with other customers, and I do not use it for anything you have not asked for.

Where it lives

Customer records and enquiries are stored on infrastructure I operate, not on a third-party CRM. Credentials are held in an encrypted password manager. Backups are encrypted and kept on storage I control.

Where a service you have bought sends data to a third party in order to work at all, for example an AI assistant that talks to a model provider, I will tell you which provider and what leaves your building before you buy it. That disclosure is part of the service, not a footnote.

Who else sees it

Nobody, except where it is unavoidable to deliver what you bought:

• Stripe processes payments. Card details go to Stripe and never reach me.
• Cloudflare handles bot checks and network protection for the site.
• Email and calendar providers carry correspondence and bookings.
• Scheduling is managed with help from a family member who handles my calendar. She sees bookings and contact details, not your financial information.

I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it for anyone else's marketing. If I am ever legally required to hand something over, I will tell you unless I am forbidden from doing so.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Customer records and job history are kept while we are working together and for up to 7 years afterwards, because tax and warranty questions come up years later. Credentials are deleted when our work ends.

Your choices

Write to [email protected] and you can ask me to:

• tell you what I hold about you
• correct anything wrong
• delete it, except where I have to keep records for tax or legal reasons
• hand over your data in a usable format

I will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

Security, honestly stated

I take reasonable measures: encrypted credential storage, encrypted backups, access limited to what a job needs, and admin interfaces kept off the public internet. No system is perfectly secure and I am not going to claim otherwise. If something happens that affects your data, I will tell you promptly and plainly.

Children

This is a business service and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially I will update the date at the top of this page.
